The Challenge
Inventory, fulfilment and customer administration were fragmented across separate systems. Shopify performed well for B2C, but lacked structure for wholesale processes: approving new accounts, assigning specific pricing, generating invoices and managing communication. As Mon Dada expanded internationally, they needed real-time stock visibility and efficient operations across both B2C and B2B channels.

dear digital implemented Odoo as the central operational system, while keeping Shopify as the B2C storefront. A dedicated B2B portal was created using a separate domain with an invite-only registration flow to grant full control over who could access wholesale prices and promotions.
Odoo automates every step of the wholesale process:
- - After a request is made via a form, Mon Dada approves access and the customer receives login credentials.
- - Pricelists are defined at customer level to ensure individual wholesale agreements are respected.
- - Orders placed in the portal automatically trigger invoice creation and digital delivery.
- - A central portal allows customers to view invoices and orders, download PDFs and communicate on specific documents.
This setup creates a professional wholesale experience while reducing manual administration.
The Results:
Mon Dada now combines two strong channels: Shopify powers a scalable B2C webshop for international shoppers, while Odoo manages fulfilment, inventory and a fully automated wholesale platform. B2B customers enjoy tailored pricing, easy ordering and direct communication via the portal. Internally, Mon Dada benefits from less manual work, faster order processing and real-time stock visibility.
