Connection Meeting - Sales opportunity

Question

My Outlook agenda is synced with my Odoo. If you have planned a meeting in Outlook, I can see the meeting in Odoo but I cannot link the meeting with a sales opportunity. How can I do that? Sometimes I'm not the organiser, so it's not always possible to organise a meeting out of an opportunity. Thanks for the help.

Hi,
When Outlook meetings are synced with Odoo, they are created as calendar events but are not linked to CRM opportunities automatically—especially if you are not the organizer.
To link them:
1. Open the event in Odoo Calendar
* Edit the event * Add the related opportunity in the “Opportunity” field (if available)
2. Recommended approach
* Create meetings directly from the opportunity (CRM → Opportunity → Schedule Activity/Meeting) * This ensures proper linkage and sync with Outlook
