How do I use Reordering Rules?

Question

I've created products, customers, suppliers, locations, a warehouse, products and reordering rules. How do I get the system to tell me what I should buy based on current inventory and the reordering rules?

from Warehouse > Schedulers, click on "Run Schedulers"

this wizard computes all the procurement orders and creates manufacturing or purchase orders.

there's also a scheduled action ("Run MRP Scheduler": Configuration > Technical > Scheduled Actions) that you can activate instead of run the task manually.
