Yes, this is standard behavior in Odoo 18. The Import option is not available for Journal Items (account.move.line) because they are accounting entries generated from source documents, and Odoo restricts direct modifications to preserve accounting integrity.

If you need to update journal items, the recommended approach is to update the originating document (invoice, bill, payment, or journal entry) and let Odoo regenerate the entries. For posted entries, direct bulk updates via import are not supported out of the box.
