i have installed this as fresh instance and some 3rd party addons from odoo official store.
We can see in the screenshots attached that some ui elements are not working as intended.

It's the third party addon's fault and odoo official store as a source is not a certificate of quality. I expirenced this issue when the 3rd party addons mess up with the css (such as those theme addons). Uninstall the 3rd party addon may resolve the issue.
