Nexys

Nexys is an engineering company specialized in machine construction, automation, and industrial refrigeration, with a strong focus on the plastics industry. The company designs and builds custom machines and provides technical service and support to industrial clients. A significant part of its activities is carried out through subcontracting, where clear and accurate project follow-up and invoicing are essential.

The decision to implement Odoo was driven by the growing complexity of the company’s invoicing landscape. Nexys works for a main contractor with hundreds of sub-clients, requiring invoices to be accurately and transparently allocated to the correct end customer. The functionalities of their previous invoicing tool proved insufficient. There was a clear need for an integrated and scalable system that not only ensures accurate and simplified invoicing, but also fully supports future growth.

Together with Fulcra, Nexys implemented several Odoo modules, including Invoicing, Inventory, Customer Portal, and Document Management. Thanks to Odoo, invoicing is now significantly smoother and more efficient. It also provides clear added value in inventory management, sharing project documentation with customers, and centralizing technical files such as manuals, 3D drawings, and electrical schematics. Through the Customer Portal, clients gain a clear overview of their documents and activities, structured per project.

Nexys continues to explore the full capabilities of Odoo, and the initial experience has been highly positive: a powerful and affordable all-in-one solution with extensive functionalities and strong growth potential.
