Hello everyone, 

I am using odoo V15 for organizing a manufacturing process with serial tracking of components and different operations and steps. The different components of the assembly should all be tracked by serial number, but the serial number should be filled in at different operations or steps in the manufacturing process.

When using only 1 operation it is possible to arrange the order at which the serial number of the components should be filled in by using the 'register consumed materials' type steps.

However, when introducing multiple operations, the previous 'Register consumed materials'
type steps are ignored and the serial numbers are asked at the end of the last operation. 

Did anybody else encounter the same problem? Should I change something in my settings or is there another way to avoid this problem?

In the Bill of material, component view, you assign the component to the operation.   Result should be what you need.
