Any plans of providing in the near future payroll localisation for Ireland?

Hi Jason,
ERP Heritage has built exactly this. We now ship a full Irish payroll localisation for Odoo on the Apps Store, covering Odoo 16, 17, 18 and 19 on the Enterprise Payroll engine.
It computes PAYE on the cumulative, Week 1 and emergency bases, USC, and employee and employer PRSI with the tapered credit and the employer step. It also handles occupational pension and PRSA, Auto-Enrolment (My Future Fund), Benefit in Kind for cars and vans, Local Property Tax at source and attachment of earnings orders. Every statutory figure is a date-versioned parameter, including the 1 October PRSI steps and the 2025 and 2026 bands, checked against revenue.ie and the SW14 guides. A Budget change is a configuration update, not a code change.
A companion module posts each payslip to the Irish chart of accounts as a balanced journal entry. A third module adds real-time PAYE Modernisation: it retrieves RPNs and submits the Payroll Submission Request to Revenue, signed with your own ROS certificate, with a test run against the Public Interface Test environment before you go live.

Odoo does not currently provide an official payroll localisation for Ireland, and there are no near-term plans announced on the roadmap. To handle Irish payroll, companies usually rely on third-party modules, partner-developed solutions, or integrations with external payroll providers. In practice, this means payroll for Ireland will need to be customised to meet local tax, PRSI, and compliance requirements.
