Please how can I add a new menu i.e the parent menu and a the child menu in OpenERP v7? Thanks

This will helpful
Have a look on Setting/Technical/User Interface/Menu Items if you want to add menus with UI.
You can do it in the settings menu, or you can write a custom module that adds the menu item. Look in the XML file of a module like sales or mrp for an example of adding parent and child menu items
