Standard Odoo does not support dependent variant attributes out of the box. Attributes are treated as fully independent, so there is no native way to say "Attribute B only appears when Attribute A is selected."

The workaround you are already using (combining them into a single attribute) is the most common approach, though it does get unwieldy with many combinations.

If you want a cleaner experience, there are two realistic paths:

1. Odoo Product Configurator (available in the Sales module) offers some domain-based filtering, but it has limitations and may not cover complex dependency chains.
2. Custom development to add conditional attribute logic at the variant or configurator level. This gives you full control over which attribute values are available based on prior selections.

There are also some third-party modules on the Odoo marketplace that specifically address attribute dependencies, which may be worth evaluating before committing to custom dev.

On the specific product variant detail page, the Value and Value Price Extra fields can be found, along with an Exclude for field.

In the Exclude for field, different Product Templates and specific Attribute Values can be added. When added, this specific attribute value will be excluded from those specific products.
