In Odoo, the display options in the BoM Overview—such as Availabilities, Lead Times, Costs, and Operations—are controlled entirely by the web client and stored as user-specific UI preferences, not by the server action or context. This means that modifying the client action’s context will not force “Availabilities” to appear by default, because the web interface always loads the last selection saved for each user. If you want it selected for yourself, you simply enable “Availabilities” once and Odoo will remember it the next time you open the view. However, if you want this to be the default for all users, the only effective method is to create a small custom web module that overrides the initial JavaScript state of the BoM Overview component and sets “Availabilities” to true when the view loads.
