As a volunteer-led business networking group, the administration of the group often fell to one person and was very time intensive.

Sixo Systems worked to streamline and automate the event management, attendance of guests, and membership subscriptions so that everything was taken care of without anyone having to lift a finger.

First, a new website was created using Odoo’s Website app, with integrated Events and Subscriptions features. It means that future events are automatically listed on the website, and guests can book onto any event, paying by card at checkout.

To become a member of the group, it is now possible to start a subscription for your membership entirely online and without any administrative burden on the group. Simply select your membership package, pay your first year’s fee, and your membership is active. As the icing on the cake, an invoice is generated automatically upon the anniversary date of the member’s start date.

Using the email marketing and social media marketing apps, NLBF have also been able to increase membership numbers by 25% and host special events with ease.
