Odoo’s greatest strength is scalability. From small businesses to large-scale manufacturing, Odoo grows alongside its challenges. What applies to our software applies equally to our corporate culture: from humble beginnings in Moabit, our Berlin office has moved to the East Side Gallery – overlooking the Spree and the iconic Oberbaum Bridge.
In just three years, our workforce has grown from a handful of employees to over 160 people. And in Q1 2026, we were once again able to welcome many new faces. A total of 38 newbies completed our onboarding and are now ready to represent Odoo in the DACH region.
The team is growing across the board. From our Sales Managers and Service Team to HR and Marketing – we have received reinforcements everywhere. This rapid growth works so well because we place great importance on structured onboarding.

Think Big – Start Simple
This phrase is written in large letters on the wall of our Berlin office and reflects the Odoo mentality. After all, every great success requires a solid foundation. That’s why we at Odoo have developed a clear and structured onboarding process to provide our newcomers with the best possible start.
Every month, the groups first undergo a “functional” onboarding, during which they get to know the Odoo all-in-one software. Step by step, the individual modules are explored using hands-on use cases. From CRM and Sales to Inventory and Manufacturing, all the way to Accounting, the functions of all apps are explained and applied in detail.
Teamwork is a top priority: whether Direct Sales, Marketing, or Financial Consultant – everyone goes through this part together, exchanging ideas and supporting one another. This cross-departmental exchange also fosters an understanding of the company structure and simultaneously builds the foundation for a strong professional network.

After the initial deep dive into the software, the second part consists of technical onboarding tailored to the respective role. Here, the newly certified Odoo experts dive deeper into their specific areas of responsibility. Sales training, project management, and everything else required for their roles are tackled by the newbies together with their new teams.
Throughout the entire process and beyond, every new colleague is accompanied by a personal coach. The coach is available at all times to help with problems or questions. This individual training also includes shadowing experienced colleagues during customer appointments and detailed feedback rounds after the first independent projects. Experience has shown that this close support at the beginning of employment helps all employees quickly reach their full potential.
Our HR team also supports the onboarding process with all its might. They are not only the first point of contact for administrative questions but also look after long-term professional development opportunities. Targeted Learning & Development offers in the form of workshops and training sessions follow seamlessly after onboarding, sustainably promoting the professional growth of all employees.
Just like the user-centric approach of the Odoo software, people are at the heart of our Berlin office. This is reflected in our regular team events – whether it’s the after-work parties at the end of the month or sharing lunch together on the banks of the Spree.
Maintaining the Momentum
Our onboarding is intended to lay the foundation for further growth. After all, yesterday’s newbies are tomorrow’s coaches. In the coming months, we at Odoo want to continue the successful growth of recent years.
In addition to a strong onboarding, all applicants can expect the opportunity to contribute their own ideas and actively shape things in an open environment. You won't find micromanagement at Odoo, as personal responsibility is a central component of sustainable professional development.
Besides expanding existing areas, we are also building entirely new teams – for example, the new Outbound Team in the Sales department. Anyone interested in being part of this development, contributing ideas, and becoming part of the team can find open positions on our job page.
