Transfer of data to another server

Question

I installed odoo 12 on another server to be able to transfer my old crm to odoo 12. My question how to make a backup and restore it with all the files and the database on the new server

Hi,
You can go to the database manager and take the back up of the current database, then coming to the database manager of the new instance you can restore the already taken backup.

if you have used any custom modules in the old server make sure that same is available in the addons path of the latest.
