Ruralquip Qld Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian-owned and operated industrial and agricultural supplier based in Ayr, North Queensland, located adjacent to the Bruce Highway in the Burdekin industrial estate. Established in 1982 initially as a steel fabrication business, Ruralquip expanded in 1988 into a full-function wholesale agricultural retail store, building over 40 years of deep expertise and relationships with the Burdekin farming and industrial community.

In 2000, Ruralquip joined the Australian Industrial Supplies (AIS) national buying group, providing access to over 120 member stores nationwide and enabling competitive national pricing with the personal service of a local operator. The business is managed by Robert Oar, its Managing Director, who brings over 37 years of agricultural and engineering experience to the role. Ruralquip's broad retail offering spans steel sales, farm equipment, hardware, tools, and rural supplies – a diverse and volume-driven product catalogue that would benefit significantly from inventory management, purchasing, and point-of-sale capabilities within an integrated ERP system.
