Yes, this behavior usually happens when stock is not properly validated in Odoo, even if quantities are entered.

In Odoo, “On Hand Quantity” only updates when stock moves are confirmed and validated, not just entered manually. A few things to check:

• Ensure your Inventory Adjustments are validated (not just saved)
• If using Receipts, make sure they are confirmed and marked as done
• Verify that the product type is set to “Storable Product”
• Check if locations and warehouses are correctly configured and active

In many cases, the issue is due to stock being entered but not properly processed through Odoo’s inventory flow.
