SCIDaR is an independent development policy research and capacity building organization

that offers a platform for policy dialogue and advocacy. As an offshoot of the Solina

consulting group, SCIDaR approaches influencing policy direction through rigorous scientific

research with unique capabilities.

Mission

SCIDaR mission is to improve health and social outcomes through effective program implementation, capacity building and dissemination of insights from rigorous research for policy change. The Center’s mission is to influence policies significantly using rigorous evidence and dialogue of experts; to help shape development outcomes in Nigeria and Africa more broadly.

Founded 2010, with headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria, it is a subsidiary of Solina Group, a non-profit organization that works with governments, donors and private sector organizations to characterize and address important development challenges to accelerate positive health, social and economic reforms across under-served populations.

SCIDar vision to become a leading organization working to accelerate social, health and economic development of under-served populations.
