Egyptian Aviation Service Company
With quality as its guiding principle, EAS was established at the end of 1989 at the initiative of the Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation. The company is a Joint Stock entity with an authorized capital of EGP 200,000,000 (Two Hundred Million Egyptian Pounds).
EAS specializes in providing ground handling services, primarily to foreign airlines. Its services include Ramp Handling, Passenger Handling, Catering, Cargo, Load Control and Communication Services, Representation and Supervision Services, and DCS Management.
In its first year of operation (1991) at Cairo Airport, EAS handled 2,210 flights with a fleet of 60 pieces of equipment and 80 employees, serving 5 customers. By the end of 2010, the company had managed over 30,000 flights (a 1,357% increase), with a fleet of 3,370 equipment and around 1,760 trained personnel capable of handling all types of aircraft, serving more than 200 customers.
Since its inception, EAS has expanded its operations to all airports across the Arab Republic of Egypt, maintaining a strong commitment to quality and comprehensive service.
