Sales & Invoicing
After implementing Odoo, the Kamling team has moved the entire buy-and-sell process onto the Odoo Sales and Invoicing apps. Odoo automatically links each SO (sales order) to its corresponding customer profile and products to be sold in Kamling’s catalog, with the correct discount and tax applied, as recorded on Odoo Inventory.
Under “Reporting,” the team can generate dynamic and accurate sales analysis reports to help managers to understand sales performance by team, product, period, and more.
This synchronization shortens the "order-to-cash" cycle, ensuring invoices are dispatched immediately after a sale, thereby significantly improving Kamling’s liquidity and financial health. And instead of waiting for the end-of-month sales tally, managers gain real-time visibility and can instantly pivot their sales strategy.
Inventory & Purchase
Odoo automatically translates order entries into delivery notes, attached within the SO. Samuel also utilizes the software’s open-source nature to customizes SOs and purchase orders (POs) with Odoo Studio to meet each customer’s specific procurement requirements, such as
- Attaching photos as proof of service delivery for easier project tracking.
- Adding specific signing boxes in the middle of the document to ensure all important clauses are studied.
- Assigning multiple construction works under the same contract.
Odoo’s customizable apps not only enable the team to digitize and automate tasks more efficiently but also streamline accounting processes for instant, accurate business overviews.
