Hi Team,
Odoo 17 CE edition is running in my server without any issues. But when ever am trying to upgrade the Odoo to 18 CE getting some errors in log file. In web page its showing like Intern Web Server Error and Error code is 500.
Environment:
Installed Odoo version: 17 CE
Host OS server : Ubuntu 22.04
Database: External PostgreSQL
Database Version: 15.0
Odoo installation method: With package repository.

Thanks for your reply, am trying with first scenario only, How can i upgrade the db to compatible with odoo 18. I am using community version, i don't have any subscription code/contract.

Are you trying to install odoo 18 and expecting the 17 db to run in odoo 18 ? Is this what you looking for ? Or to run odoo 18 seperately in a different port and to create a new db ?
If the scenario is the first one, it is not possible like this, the database has to go through UPGRADE process to make it compatible in odoo 18 and if the case if second one, it has to work and in that case you can share the error log that you are getting
