Exporting data V15

Question

I want to export newly created variants, populate the info with existing products then re-import into the newly created variant fields... when I come to export (before clicking on "I want to update data (import-compatible export) I see Location, Quantity on Hand ect... but after I click I loose those options and CAN'T find them in the list

You cannot change or alter the Quantity on hand and location from product variants once it is created, but you can update it through inventory adjustment.
