I would like to create a "dashboard like" view in Odoo 10 for 1 record of a model.

In my case, I want to have a dashboard for each customer (res.partner), showing informations (typically counts of relational fields records and link to tree view of relational fields. E.g. number of sales, contracts...) of the partner in a dashboard style view.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to switch from 'form' view of a record to 'dashboard' view.

I have found general information on custom dashboard views on the web, but it was always for dashboard/report for the whole model (like one can find for e.g. stock module dashboard), not a particular record.

Here are my ideas so far, but I'd like to make sure I am not missing something :

• go low level and create my own view type (eg as explained here \https://www.codeproject.com/Tips/998870/Odoo-custom-view-module)
• maybe find a trick to create a kanban view for only one record ?
• maybe it is possible to have a general dashboard view, with a domain, that could be dynamically reduced to 1 record chosen by the user ??

Any suggestion would be much appreciated !
