I tested on a runbot the merge of sales order and subscriptions and was quite confused that it will be no longer possible to have a sale order with "one shot" product and recurring products. How will you deal with the migration of customers having this kind of SO ?

One shot sales orders are still supported. What did not work when you tested? "no longer possible" - can you define what you mean by this?

On the sale order there is a field named recurrence where you can define if you want on invoice daily,Monthly,annualy...
Since this field is on the header how will the system manage a sale order that combines both recurrent and non recurrent product lines ?
Other question, since Subscriptions is now a sale order the subscription that gets created contains all the lines of the sale order and therefore show a recurring amount of the entire sale order.

Your first question was about "one shot" sales orders, and your second question was about orders that are a mix. I work with released versions of Odoo and only get excited about new versions, trying them out only when they are released. I recommend trying different scenarios and reporting problems if you feel there are bugs. Once Odoo v16 is released, you can re-post the questions you have at that time.

Dear Ray, the goal to test beta release is to make sure we don't loose functionnalities; with the merge of sales order and subscriptions it seems to me that with V16 a sale order that will become a subscription should only contain recurring products which was not the case before. Regards Maurice
