Backlink issue between Purchase and Inventory Apps

Hi,
I have been trying out the community edition of Odoo V16 at my office.
As I have trying to understand the Purchase and Inventory apps, after I create an RFQ and confirm order in the purchase app, the same is not reflected in the receipt to process in the Inventory app. After going through the tutorial, I understand that after I confirm an order from the Purchase app, it will be updated to the receipts to process in the Purchase app. Is there something that I'm missing here? Or is the feature

Hi Sruthy,
The product was saved as consumable. I tried changing it to a storable product. But it still does not reflect in the receipts. Only manually created receipts are visible.

Hai suraj,
Please check the product type ,i think you have selected product type as "service" that's why you are not getting receipts smart button .
In odoo we have 3 product types : Storable( maintain stocks in inventory) ,consumable ,service(it won't appear in stock. for example : consulting service).
