New to website creation & Ecommerce & still evaluating Odoo (Free version) suitability for my sole trader business:
I am aware that I need SSL certificate/ fixed IP for Ecommerce trading & assuming that this must be a paid service.
Unable to find pricing for this or could it br that this is also Free?
you can use free SSL certificates for your website. I suggest using Nginx in conjunction with Let's Encrypt to accomplish this.

Please go though this video to understand how to get free ssl certificate and configure it with Odoo from Letsencrpt.
In essence, It is inclusive with Odoo even with the free version.
The functions of a SSL are standard in Odoo.
Another plus for Odoo!
