How can I make Odoo V16 wait for the suibcontractor to finish the product before being able to receive it?
Currently it is possible to receive the final subcontracted product even if the components haven't even reached the subcontractor, and this can create big stock problems if a warehouse floor operator receives the items.
I have thought of disabling negative stocks (requires a mod), this way if the components are not at the subcontractor's location, it won't be possible.

A solution would maybe be to set up lead times so the reception of the final product from the subcontractor does not appear immediately in the "to process" list. For example, you specify to Odoo that the subcontractor produces the goods en 10 days so the reception will appear in 10 days and the floor operator won't see it in the "to process" list of receptions.

Thanks Diego! unfortunately that doesn't solve the issue, as the receipt back from the subcontractor should say "waiting on another operation", just like the delivery to the subcontractor while the products are in stock to do the delivery.
