Is it possible to break down units of measure from how many bottles in case and how many cases in a pallet? And is there a way to cross reference that information from PO's to inventory?

Hi,
Odoo fully supports breaking down units of measure (UoM) like "bottles in a case" and "cases in a pallet," and this information seamlessly cross-references from Purchase Orders (POs) to inventory. You achieve this by configuring various UoMs such as "Bottle," "Case," and "Pallet" within the same UoM category, defining their precise conversion ratios (e.g., 1 Case = 24 Bottles, 1 Pallet = 50 Cases). For each product, you set a default inventory UoM (typically the smallest, like "Bottle") while allowing purchases to be made in larger units like "Cases" or "Pallets." Crucially, when you receive goods on a PO, Odoo automatically converts the purchased quantity from the larger UoM (e.g., Pallets) into the product's base inventory UoM (Bottles), ensuring accurate stock levels without manual calculation.
Hope it helps
