The challenge
Vestad, a technically-minded company, had an in-house developer and began using Odoo on their own, but they hit the limitations of Odoo Studio and required help with key developments. The company also managed its projects outside of Odoo and needed a simple way to name them clearly because multiple people were working on them at the same time. Finally, they needed to add more information about their building projects to the PDFs of quotations and invoices.

dear digital addressed Vestad's technical challenges by implementing a new sequence for project names and adding a display field on sales orders that links directly to the project, which was previously managed outside of Odoo. Additionally, they added several custom fields to their quotation and invoice PDFs, such as builder, designer, and project type, to provide customers with more project-specific information.
