You can’t just change it via regular settings — you need to tweak the QWeb / email template:

1. Activate Developer Mode → Go to Settings → Technical → Views.

2. Search for the view.

3. In the QWeb code of that view, change the button label from “Sign & Pay” to “View Quote”.

4. Save and test by sending a quotation email to yourself — check the new wording.

You can change the “Sign & Pay ” button text in v18, but it isn’t Done from the regular email template. The walling comes from the Customer Portal settings and the Quote email template inside the Document Editor.

Here’s how you can change it to “View Quote ”:

1. Go to Settings → Customer Portal → Templates.

2. Open the Quote Template used for your quot emails.

3. Look for the button text field (usally under Call-to-Action Button or Primary Action).

4. Change “Sign & Pay ” to “View Quote ” (or whatver you prefer).

5. Save and reset a test email.

This is only changes the walling — the actual functionality of the portal status the same. Your customers will now see a neutral button introduce of something that can be like they’re being taken to pay for immediately.
