Issues with fullscreen mode in eLearning

Question

I am trying out he eLearning app and have found two issues with it.
When clicking on a lesson, users are directed to full screen view of the lesson. In this view, the lesson is automatically marked as "completed" although the user just clicked on the link and has not completed the lesson. If a user clicks on each lesson out of curiosity, then all lessons are marked as completed right away. This is confusing.

2. Is there a way to not even show the lessons in fullscreen mode? I do not have access

Sorry I'm trying to respond to the person who responded to my comment but I can't seem to do anything besides edit my own comment, which is weird. I must be missing something obvious somehow.
I don't want to disable the full screen mode necessarily, I just want the student to default to the normal page and choose to open full screen if they want. It looks a lot nicer and preserves navigation a little better.
