We would like all products in our warehouse to be in "unbroken" total package quantities. Our goal is to eliminate open packaging and partial quantities in the main warehouse and isolate them in the manufacturing area.

Is there a way that we can enforce the transfer of total package quantities during a "pick components" activity?

For example, we have raw material in 40lb pails. When there is demand in Pre-Production (3-Step MFG) for 10 lbs, we would want the "pick components" to instruct the material handlers to transfer a full 40 lb pail in Pre-Production.

Whatever was left over after the MO was completed would stay in Pre-Production until future MOs eventually consumed it.
