Black Pepper By Carine

Carine Ajouz Shaban is a graduate from the ESMOD fashion school with over 13 years of experience in the Fashion field.

She worked through various positions in the fashion and creative industry, be it teaching in a well know International fashion school in Riyadh, Tv production, to stylist in few fashion houses and co owning a few businesses. 9 years ago, she had her own line of traditional black abaya made with the finest crepe and silks that went very well with what was the trend then.

After that she relocated with her husband and two adorable kids to Dubai and then moved back to Jeddah, KSA in 2017.

The minute she stepped foot in the country she could breathe, feel, and see all the positive change happening and the modernization taking place. She just had to be a part of it!

Hence the launch of BLACKPEPPER By Carine in October 2018.

Black came obviously from the traditional abaya color and Pepper for the spiciness and richness of the product and the vision I had for the new Abaya trend.

Black pepper is a comfortable wear, colorful one with a lot of exquisite prints that required a lot of guts from me to even consider them « pepper » for the modernization of the product
