I observe that I can select the same employee for any number of times again within the same payroll period and odoo generates those many payslips and post accounting entries which result in double payment.
Please any way out of this ???

Hello. In my module https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/13.0/xf_payroll/ I implement skipping creating duplicated payslips for one employee.
