The main issue with your example is the Python syntax (for, if, variable names, capitalization, and field assignment). The logic itself is correct: loop through the order lines, check for a recurring plan, and add the line margin to your custom field.

You can create one computed field for recurring margin and another for non-recurring margin by filtering the order lines accordingly. Also, make sure the field depends on order_line.margin and order_line.product_id.recurring_plan_id so it recalculates properly when values change.

What Odoo version are you using?

There is no recurring_plan_id field on the product model. I believe you mean recurring_invoice, on that case, line #4 should be updated as follows:

if line.product_id and line.product_id.recurring_invoice:
