Imagine that you want to hide the cost price on the product form for the normal user. 

Only the manager could have access to it!

How to proceed?

You need to have Studio!

You click on the field “cost” and then you will add a group on the “Limit visibility to groups” 

In this case, the normal user will not have access the cost price.

Do not forget to also change the “list view”:

That is great but what happens now if I want to display the margin on the SO??? 

ATTENTION: you need to put a limit access on the view on the SO otherwise the normal user will see the cost and margin as below:

Go the view and add the group who can see the cost and so the margin.

Now, the normal user will see the following screen on the SO.

If the user is not a manager, he will not have access to the report which allows to see the margin as below:
