When I click on "Check availability" or when I run the scheduler, all quantities are automatically reserved without launching any purchase/produce order even though there are no inventories available. What setting could trigger this behavior, which defeats the purpose of the scheduler?

Solved by changing:
Component to "Storable product" instead of "Consumable"
Route source to an "Internal location" instead of a "Manufacturing" one
