Farmer's Deli
Farmer's Deli is a Malta-based organic food specialist dedicated to supplying discerning customers with the finest quality produce. Sourcing from trusted suppliers in Malta, Sicily, Northern Italy, France, and Spain, all products are fully traceable to their producer and certified under the EU organic farming regulation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and transparency. With a shop in San Gwann and a daily delivery service across Malta and Gozo six days a week, Farmer's Deli offers a personalised, convenient way to bring exceptional organic fruit, vegetables, and ingredients straight to your door.Fresh produce, short shelf live, weekly arrivals and extensive product list became a real bottleneck for Farmer’s Deli holding back growth. The inability to track products by their expiry date meant that waste was becoming an issue. Ordering without information or by manually checking is laborious. The successful on- line shop operated independently from the shop which created a real challenge, especially for the inventory.
eMerge stepped in with Odoo to offer a comprehensive integrated system from ordering to accounting, automating ordering, tracking food products by the expiry date and allowing management to place orders based on retail data. The shop and the online shop will share the same inventory items with real time stock levels and pricing.
The goal is to drastically reduce waste, eliminate repetitive work, share data across all platforms allowing growth and streamlining Farmer’s Deli business. Atacado / Varejo
Fonicom Limited
Fonicom is an IT service company based in Malta that implemented Odoo directly. They came to Smart IT for support on a range of applications they were using. Smart IT carried out a discovery project to help the Fonicom team understand Odoo’s processes and align them with their day-to-day operations. The training was carried out in the areas of CRM, Sales, HR Finance, and Projects. Further applications like document management were reviewed within the discovery process to implement. GRTU Services Limited
The General Retailers and Traders Union (GRTU) also known as the Malta Chamber forSMEs is a trade union in Malta that represents small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
across various sectors of the economy. It was established in 1968 and has since become a
prominent voice for the business community in Malta.
The GRTU works to promote the interests of its members by engaging in advocacy and
lobbying efforts, providing business support services, and organizing training and networking
events. The union also offers a range of benefits to its members, including legal and financial
advice, discounts on various services, and representation in disputes with suppliers or
customers.
The GRTU is involved in several initiatives aimed at promoting the growth and development
of SMEs in Malta. One such initiative is the Enterprise Europe Network, a European Union-
funded program that provides business support services to SMEs looking to expand into new
markets. The GRTU also runs the Business First initiative, which provides a one-stop-shop
for business registration and licensing services.
4Sight was awarded a Tender for the full digitalisation of GRTU. 4Sight has supported the
Union in Digitising all of its operation from the management of subscriptions to accounts to
