V18 PO changes price when changing quantity

Question

I have a number of parts whose purchase price changes frequently.  If I make a PO for qty 1 and adjust the price on the PO, then go back and change the quantity, the price reverts back to what is on the product page purchase tab.  I do not want to have to change that field every time I need to buy these parts.  Is there a setting somewhere that will make it not revert back to the price on the product page?  TIA.

When you change the quantity of a product on a Purchase Order, Odoo automatically triggers a background check to see if that supplier has a registered price list for that item.
If it finds one, Odoo's standard system design forces it to reload that official supplier price, which unintentionally overwrites the custom price you just typed in.
