Project Overview

Technova partnered with Mira General Trading to execute a full upgrade from Odoo v14 to Odoo v18, as part of their business modernization and system optimization initiative. The upgrade aimed to enhance system performance, improve user experience, and leverage new features in Odoo v18 for automation and reporting.

The project included a complete technical and functional migration, ensuring that all master data, transactional history, and financial balances were accurately carried forward without disrupting ongoing operations. Technova also restructured the configuration of key modules — including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting — to align with Odoo’s latest best practices.

Several customizations and workflows developed in earlier versions were refactored to native Odoo features to reduce complexity and improve system stability. After the upgrade, Technova conducted UAT sessions, user training, and validation testing, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime.
