Manufacturing Sector
Kokeb Paint: Established in 2016 in Bahir Dar, this plant uses European technology to produce a wide range of products including interior/exterior wall finishes, water and solvent-based paints, anti-rust, and quartz paints.
Kokeb Marble: Located in Bahir Dar, the factory utilizes modern Italian machinery (Marin) and its own quarry sources to produce various sizes of high-quality white marble.
Kokeb Granite: Also situated in Bahir Dar, this facility is equipped with advanced technology like multi-wire high-speed production and resin treatment plants to produce high-aesthetic dimensional stones and granite slabs.
Kokeb Tiles: This plant in Bahir Dar features semi-robotic technology from Italy. It is the first of its kind in Ethiopia, producing high-standard tiles in various colors and sizes for the local market.
Kokeb Kana Edible Oil: Operating out of the Tatek Industrial Zone (Sheger City), this refinery has a capacity of 115 tons per day. It is integrated with BEAEKA’s own oilseed farms (soybean and sunflower) to reduce foreign currency outflow.
Kokeb Mineral Milling and Packaging: This unit provides specialized packaging solutions for various minerals. It ensures safe handling and maintains product integrity during transit and storage using advanced packaging technology.
Heavy Vehicle Assembly: Strategically located to support industrial growth, this factory focuses on the local assembly of heavy vehicles (including a partnership with SHACMAN). It aims to meet domestic demand while conserving hard currency by reducing reliance on imports.
Mining Sector
BEAEKA is a key player in the extraction of dimensional stones (marble, granite, limestone, and dolomite) with multiple quarry sites across Ethiopia. They are also involved in placer gold mining in the Gambela region and have active exploration programs for other resources like coal.
Construction Sector
