For the Manufacturing Operations, the project is to enable a special stone material procurement process in their manufacturing operations. Jewelry stone procurement is bulk purchased raw materials which is then cut and extracted in many steps. During this procurement process the raw stone materials may go through multiple evaluation steps. Then for the approved purchase items the price is negotiated based on estimated yields. For the remaining, they may be returned to the supplier entirely or partially. The purchased items is then further refined into inventory items.
