product.template form name doesnt update

Hello,

i have problem that is perplexing me.

i did an update to the product.template entry on a number of products.

i updated some of the routing, product tags and product catagories and the product name.

in the json api i can query the product.template and see all the changes to all the fields, but when i load the product up in the ui, the product name in unchanged. its other fields are correct.

I have also checked the product.template.display_name via the json rpc and it is correct.

Is there some where else i need to change the product name or is there some process i need to trigger to get the name change propagated to the gui?

Wanted to ping this thread as i have hit this again.

i renamed about 300 products via the jsonrpc, when i look them up in the json rpc the name & display name for the product.template & product.product models are named correctly in name & display_name.

but the GUI still shows the old name.

are names cached somewhere, and by making the change in the json rpc, its not updating the cache?

i really do not want to spend my day renaming these by hand.

anyone have an idea as to what is occuring?

Just out of curiosity

do you have other language activated?

Because it's look like to me that the product are updated in the DB (beacause you see it in the api) but in the view not, because the user you are using has another language than the one of the api

can you check ?

If so, then you need to update also the translation (can be done by upload also)
