The problem is not the internet connection. Behind this false internet connection message, there is an underlying exception, that, in my opinion, pos interfase doesn't know how to manage, or how show to you. If you click in the red network icon, probably you will see the exception message, or I suggest to take a look to the server log.

In my experience, the user rights differ if you have installed additional modules, which add some constraints.. for example if you limit the access to the pos user to specific journals (sales, stock, payment) used by pos instance, you will have these kind of problems. To give a precise solution, is necessary to see the log.

Actually, to create invoice from POS, you have to take care of following.

- Customer should be selected,

- it should be online mode, invoice will not work in offline pos.
