POS Payment using Voucher

Question

We are currently using Odoo Community edition, and one of the requirements is to allow customers to pay their orders in POS using *vouchers*. Since we want to avoid any custom development, we are not sure what is the best way to handle this. From what we have seen, POS in Community only supports standard payment methods (cash, bank, etc.), and the Coupons/Promotions or Gift Card features appear to be available only in Odoo Enterprise or through third-party apps.

Hi,

In *Odoo Community*,
there is no built-in support for vouchers, coupons, or gift cards in
POS — those are Enterprise features. The only out-of-the-box option is
to create a new POS payment method called /Voucher/ and handle
voucher issuance, validation, and balances manually outside Odoo. This
works if you just need a simple way to accept vouchers. If you want

Hi,
Which version of Odoo Community do you use? I am just looking at 18.0, and "Vouchers" are available (although, may use name Gift Card). In case to activate it, you need to install *eCommerce* module. Then:
