I have the following issue: in an on-premise Odoo 17 database, I want that in the Accounting Dashboard, under the Bank Journal’s “Match Existing Entries” tab, the users should only be able to see payments from journals to which they are assigned (via a custom field).
Please help me solve this issue. Thank you.

Yes, this requirement can be achieved in Odoo 17, but it is not available as a standard configuration.
Since the "Match Existing Entries" reconciliation screen retrieves accounting entries and payments globally, you would typically need a customization to filter the records based on the journals assigned to the logged-in user (via your custom field). This can be implemented through a custom domain and/or record-rule logic so that users only see payments originating from their authorized journals during reconciliation.
The exact approach depends on how your custom journal assignment field is currently configured.

I have tried to apply restrictions through record rules on both Journal Items and Payments, but they do not affect that menu or list.
