How to print a pdf while using base_report_print straight to printer on a server ?

Question

I have installed base_report_print on odoo v8 , and i have tried the print functionality on a local machine on a personal computer , the module found the printers i had coonnected to my network. I then tried the module on a server running odoo however it couldnt find any printers ....

Is there process i missed when trying to access the printer on a server
i have installed cups on the server but sill no result ?

If you have GUI in the server, it would be best to try and connect to the printer from the user interface.  If not try searching for how to connect a network printer to the server (if you are using linux, then add command line keyword).  The following are samples of what I've got from search for linux with command line:
