I've been trying Odoo Documents for a month. I'm actually putting the document's name in the filename, as I was doing when I was storing my documents in filesystem folders. I probably wouldn't need to do that if Odoo allowed me to modify the document date.

How come Odoo Documents doesn't allow me to modify the document date? The date a document is uploaded to Odoo Documents is rarely the actual date of the document. Maybe it was received by email the previous day; maybe it was scanned today but it was sitting on my desk for a week. Maybe I need to upload a misplaced four-month-old document. Maybe... you get the point.

If the actual document date isn't managed by Odoo, then there's many queries I'd expect a DMS to do but I can't. E.g. "show me all vendor invoices of January 2020" (I need to use tags for that); show me all client contracts from 2019; etc.
