Hi. I am looking for a solution where freelancer employees can just pick dates to make themselves available for work. With "Project" I can request a timeframe from the employee when it will be worked on. However, as a admin I want to know the available days from my employees and then schedule them myself. For the freelancer it should be easy, so no filling out forms, just dates that turn into a colour when clicked on. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Yes, this is possible in Odoo, although it is not available exactly this way in the standard modules.
A practical approach would be to use Odoo Planning or Employee Scheduling and add a simple availability calendar where freelancers can click/select available dates without filling out detailed forms. The administrator can then view all availability and assign work accordingly.
This usually requires a small customization to provide the user-friendly date-picker experience you're describing.

Thanks @faOtools. Interesting one. Also helpful, but I dont see how a ressource, e.g. a person, can select days of availability easily by just clicking a date or a toggle for each day the person is available to work. Based on the information of the freelancer I want to allocate the person with the right skills to a project or event.
