Cost Price for Variants

Question

Hello to you all,
I really love to work with Oodo 14 , but I noticed a serious problem. When I make a product in Oodo with Cost price and suppliers price all works fine. But when I make severall variants(for example sizes) of this product the costprice in the variant products is empty. The stock is also zero when I by this product. I have to set al the costprices for the variants by hand.
This is not the way it should work I believe. Is there anyone who can help me with this seriuos problem. We

Hi Giel:
Make sure the *Costing Method* of the Products is set to either *First In First Out (FIFO)* or *Average Cost (AVCO)*. The default value is *Standard Price* which means you have to manually enter the cost for each product variant.  If you set it to either FIFO or AVCO, Odoo will automatically keep a track of the cost for you at the variant level based on the selected costing method.
Typically this setting is done at the Product Category like so.
