Blue Ocean Navigation is a Greek sea-freight forwarder operating across Full Container Load and Less-than-Container-Load flows for major industries, supported by a well-organised domestic and international network. Sea-freight forwarding runs on disciplined shipment-lifecycle management, sea-freight documentation, advanced tariff and cost control, partner EDI connectivity, and multi-currency settlement on tight time windows. The operating shape rarely fits an out-of-the-box ERP. 

Blue Ocean went live with us on Odoo across Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Accounting, with our EXN Greek Localization and EXN AADE MyData modules carrying real-time AADE compliance. The differentiating piece is two custom Odoo modules we developed for the customer, EXN FCL and EXN LCL, that together carry the full sea-freight operational lifecycle: shipment booking and lifecycle management, documentation across bills of lading, manifests, customs entries, and port paperwork, an advanced tariff engine with cost control, EDI integrations to carriers and partner systems, planning tools for truck loading, route optimisation, and resource usage on the inland leg, and multi-currency invoicing with real-time exchange rates. EXN Middleware sits at the integration boundary connecting Odoo to the partner, port, and customs systems. 

The result is one fully web-based platform across the full sea-freight lifecycle, from booking through documentation through delivery and settlement, with the operational, regulatory, and commercial layers built into a single Odoo instance.
